Welcome to Denver Machine. We are in industrial sized machine shop outfit fitted to tackle in industrial sized problems!

Prototyping can be extremely BOTH expensive and time consuming! Often getting the last 10% of your design dialed in can take 75% of the time you spent on your project. At Denver Machine we are proud to announce that we have partnered with a 3D printer manufacturer to make plastic parts for whatever you may need—in house!

After several design iterations we were able to complete a concept to complete prototype in weeks which normally could have taken months!

Chances are if you live here in Colorado and you get your power from natural gas, a machine like this is what drives the generator that gives you power. This is a 180 MW gas turbine.  This is enough power to provide electricity for a small town. 

To understand the scale of the size of this unit, these fan blades are approximately 12 feet in diameter.

To understand the cost of one of these units, each blade in this gas turbine cost approximately $80,000 US. Each blade is manufactured, using state of the art technology to exacting standards.

Today we got a tour of Denver, International Airport, compliments of their operations team.

Did you know that DIA has one airplane either taking off or landing every 60 to 90 seconds from each one of their six runways. That makes it by the number of planes, the 4th highest in the country. 

In 2025, Denver International Airport handled almost 3/4 million aircraft either taking off for landing. 

FUN FACT: terminal East is almost always less busy than terminal West. Additionally, it doesn’t matter which terminal you are leaving out of. 

This is the largest commercial runway in the United States clocking in at 16,000 feet!
