We are a loosely associated group of Northeast Washington outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy cycling, hiking, skiing, kayaking, and many other human-powered recreational activities. Ferry County rail trail hits rocky road with commissioners A Ferry County Commission meeting set for Monday appears to be another step toward allowing motorized vehicles on 25 miles of rail trail corridor that county voters have supported for biking, hiking, horse riding and other non-motorized use.

Friday (July 22) Happy Hour bike ride to the Republic Brewery, over Sherman Pass! Who wants to go? So far, it's Lynn and Ed. We could start at 2 or 3, meeting at the Inchelium Hwy turnoff of Highway 20. That would put us at the brewery at about 5 or 6. We will have our Subaru in Republic, which can take 2 extra bikes and people back. If you want to drive over, maybe you're willing to take the hordes of cyclists who want to ride this ride back over the pass after beer:30. :-) The weather should be perfect!
