The world has lost a great leader and tattoo pioneer… The Beautiful, Talented and Tough Shanghai Kate Hellenbrand (1942-2022). was an American tattoo artist who has worked in the industry for over 40 years, and she is widely considered to be “America’s Tattoo Godmother” since she worked with many individuals who pioneered American tattoo work.
