Inputs and outputs. Remember doing those dreaded math tables in school? If you didn't put in the right inputs you could not get the correct output no matter how hard you tried. So it is in life. If you don't like how things are going, maybe you need to check your inputs. What are you putting in your mind and body? What are you allowing into your soul? Choose the correct inputs and you will find the output of a more joyful, peaceful life.

Then, to make matters worse, he blames you if you dare point out that he is hurting you. Gaming addiction. It is real. Did you know there are "warcraft widows" or "game widows?" Wives or girlfriends of guys who grieve the "loss" of their partner to the addiction of gaming. I want to thank my friend, Judy Van de Venne, who co-authored a research piece on the subject. I will be highlighting her article later this week. In the mean-time, do you know any game widows, are you or your marriage, or your dating relationship affected by your partner's excessive gaming? If so, I'd love to hear from you and hear your story.

Relax! So many issues are much easier to work through when we slow down. I remember when I used to teach Suzuki piano method. If a student made a mistake, the fix was always simple: SLOW DOWN! We would repeat the problem area of a piece at a snail's pace and then and only once we mastered it slowly would we speed it back up to normal. So many problems you are facing can be easily remedied if you take the time to slow down and articulate them clearly, not in a rush, not in a panic. Today we lattice braided Wildfire's mane. SO relaxing. Of course, at the barn it is easy for people to open up while slowing down. There is just a different pace when you are around horses. Horses do not enjoy being around anxious people, so that forces clients to calm themselves. In the environment of intentional calm, solutions to age-old problems can more easily flow.

An honor. I am so blessed to be a life-coach. To enter into someone else's inner world and hear their stories and struggles is a sacred privilege. To offer strength, courage, and help them find the guidance they need is exhausting and yet worth every precious minute. To rejoice with those who are rejoicing and to weep with those who weep. An honor. A sacred honor. 🙏🕊❤️
