This week, ACUHO-I President-Elect Michael Griffel attended the APSAA-Asia Pacific Student Accommodation Association Conference 2026 in Adelaide, Australia.

Centered around the theme Driving Excellence in Every Encounter, the conference brought together campus housing and residence life leaders to share innovative practices, strengthen collaboration, and advance excellence across the profession.

Highlights included:
• The Study Tour kickoff with more than 90 delegates participating
• Lunch in the dining hall at St. Mark's College
• A welcome from Jacob Waitere (President of APSAA)
• Celebrating APSAA’s 35th anniversary
• Recognition of more than 40 APSAA members earning professional certification
• An evening awards banquet and celebration honoring achievements across the profession

Thank you to APSAA for their continued partnership with ACUHO-I and all attendees for fostering meaningful conversations.
