This Veterans Day, we’re proud to reflect on our work in Upper Arlington, OH—a memorial park dedicated to all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces and the city’s first responders. Designed as a journey of reflection, pride, and gratitude, the space continues to connect visitors with the stories of those who’ve served our community and country.
Set within the historic Mallway District-once home to Camp Willis, a 1916 military training camp— the site has long been a place of remembrance. From the original WWIl memorial pillars to recent enhancements led by local Veterans and residents, Veterans Plaza stands as a living tribute to service, sacrifice, and community.

At POD we design spaces that bring people together. Our design for the new 2.7-acre park adjacent to Little Grand Market is a hub for connection and community engagement, bringing together dog lovers, foodies, music enthusiasts and more! The park sits at the core of the Grandview Crossing mixed-use development by our friends that brings new life to a former landfill, creating a thriving community of residential, office, retail and hospitality uses in a neighborhood setting.
