Take care of everyone else.

But rest was never supposed to be something you earned by running yourself into the ground.

Taking care of yourself is not selfish.

Sometimes the most productive thing you can do is absolutely NOTHING for a little while. ✨

Sit outside.

Drink your coffee while it’s actually still hot. ☕

Say no without writing a five-paragraph explanation for why.

The world will keep spinning while you recharge.

You cannot keep pouring love, energy, patience, and pieces of yourself into everyone around you while ignoring the fact that **your own cup is empty.**

So this weekend…

Rest.

🧾 About 37 lessons I definitely could’ve learned the first time 😂
🧾 A LOT of tears
🧾 Several versions of myself I had to outgrow
🧾 And way too many “well… I won’t do THAT again” moments

But look what came home with me:

✨ Higher standards
✨ Self-respect
✨ Peace
✨ Confidence
✨ A much lower tolerance for nonsense
