We recently celebrated the one-year anniversary of completing one of our favorite projects, the ECDI renovation. From day 1, our team understood the incredible difference ECDI makes in our community. So, we're especially proud to know they've completed a full year of expanded service in the upgraded facility.

How did we remodel the Columbus office of ECDI- Economic and Community Development Institute?

SBS remodeled the space to create three food-safe commercial kitchens with hood and suppression systems. By creating more space for community and small-business use, including a demonstration kitchen for cooking classes, ECDI could expand its resources and services.

As general contractor, we worked with the design team to meet the timeline and budget restraints while remaining flexible to fulfill the client's needs.

Upon completion, the owner noted our excellent service and construction and scored their experience with SBS as a 10 out of 10!

Today we honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. As a proud minority-owned construction business in Columbus, his leadership and commitment to service inspire us daily to serve our clients and our communities well. As Dr. King reminded us,
