Today, our campaign is proud to announce that we have received the endorsement of Governor Mike DeWine.

I’m honored to have Governor DeWine’s endorsement. His career as the Governor, a local prosecutor, and Attorney General has given him unique insight into our state’s criminal justice system. His lifelong commitment to public safety mirrors my own and I couldn’t be prouder to have his support.

Ohioans deserve justices on the Supreme Court that are going to prioritize public safety. Throughout my career, I have done exactly that.

I'm the only candidate in this race with extensive experience as a criminal prosecutor. Before my time on the bench, I worked tirelessly with law enforcement to put criminals behind bars. The people of Ohio can trust me to be just as committed to their family’s safety as they are.

Today, we released our first ad, "Roots".

"Roots" is not a unique one to Ohioans. Countless people in our state, across generations, have built their lives just as I did - on their family farms and in their family businesses.

I grew up on my family farm, raising livestock and working in the family construction to put myself through college. To this day, I live on that family farm with my wife and four children.

Growing up, I learned hard work, honesty, and fairness - values that guide me as a judge today. I've spent nearly thirty years in Ohio's legal system as a prosecutor, trial judge, and now as an appellate judge. I've handled thousands of cases and prosecuted, and sentenced, more criminals than I can count.

I'm ready to serve everyday Ohioans because I am one. I know how the law impacts the people, and future, of our state.
