The Governor has officially declared a State of Emergency for all Georgia counties (7 days) due to the inclement weather expected this weekend and possibly into next week.
Reminder: GAR added a provision to the Purchase & Sale Agreement under “Delays Caused by Emergencies.”
✨ Automatic Extension for Emergency Declarations
When the Governor declares a State of Emergency, contract deadlines are automatically extended by the length of the emergency.
This is especially important if you have an upcoming closing that could be impacted.
