When a gate doesnt work the system doesn't work. That is why our gates are set deep, deep enough to ride, we also set gates that are open all the time or latch 2 ways with support 2 ways. The second post is either above you or below you. In this case we used overheads. These gates are nearly 10 years old, have never been adjusted and work as good as the day they were installed.
