To celebrate Pride Month, we’re featuring Equal Roots () as our drip coffee of the month.

Equal Roots is an LGBTQ+ and Latino-owned coffee roaster right here in Central Ohio. Even more uniquely, they own and operate the farm in Honduras where this coffee is grown, a farm that has been in their family for over 200 years.

While Equal Roots partners with other incredible coffee-growing communities, we wanted to highlight something that’s still a rarity in the coffee industry: an LGBTQ+ owned coffee company with a direct farm-to-cup connection.

Beyond great coffee, Equal Roots is committed to supporting education in coffee-growing communities, using a portion of their profits each year to provide school supplies for local children.
