created a cult like following with his open mic at Surly girl and brought his talents to us when they closed. He had the longest running open mic comedy in the city and we were fortunate to work with him for 6 solid years. We’re sorry to hear about his passing, but his spirit will always live on with the comedy night he started. We hope Sean is having the best set ever, with a cold Budweiser and a shot of Jameson in front of him. Rest easy, pal! ❤️

I cannot express how much we love our girls. They started coming to as youngsters and we are so proud that they still come to our brand as wonderful badass women, to still celebrate special occasions with us. May seem silly to most, but our brand is not where it is today without the 17 years of different groups and people supporting us along the way!

The lights of High Street are a little less bright tonight with the heartbreaking news of the passing of the iconically eccentric and lovely man we called, Doorman Dave. You may know him from working the door at for the past couple decades, and we’re proud to have know him from a decade of busting balls and talking about life. To know him was to appreciate a genuinely different, quirky, funny and kind man. We put up middle finger pictures of celebrities in our guys bathroom and we ended up putting up this one of him up and he was so proud we did that. He even signed it and bought a nice frame for it. Lol. He’d walk over after his shifts with his clip board, flip phone and have a few tall Jack n cokes while he waited for a cab to take him home. I swear he’s the last guy in this town that used cabs. It’s definitely a sad day for our industry and for anyone who knew him. Rest easy friend, you’ll old ass is going to be missed and tonight we’ll tip a tall Jack n Coke to your memory!
