Overcomers on the Move

I am beyond grateful that Unchained OSU has provided a platform for the past 11 years to help Overcomers of trafficking learn the difference between surviving and overcoming.
When the language and education came out about human trafficking I personally could not relate to the survivor part. I was surviving when I was trapped in that life.
How we overcome day by day!
Overcomer:
1.)Relies on the Word of God to define who they are and what they should do
2.) Thankful to God in all situations
3.)Prays for Gods will and for others
4.) Owns their part in every situation
5.) Often alone without support from fake Christian’s
6.) Not accepted in the church or most places for being to much
7.) Poor in spirit

Everyone wants to know what is the difference between an Overcomer and a victim? Would anyone like to share?

I never received funding for the work I’ve done through the Ohio Department of BehavioralHealth. I been asking for help and someone said why don’t you go to a food pantry. So I did and I got a box of moldy bread. I’m all gluten in tolerant😁😂😜 crazy world we live in!

Sometimes “letting it go” leads to more issues instead of the healing that is needed. Sometimes we need to be able to address the situation and have the difficult conversations no matter how uncomfortable it makes us or others. You deserve to be heard! I deserve to be heard. We all deserve to be heard!! If it isn’t safe to address it directly, or if the situation needing addressed is an older situation and people aren’t there to address directly — WRITE IT OUT!! Write a letter and address the situation. Talking out with a therapist or a close friend you trust!! Just get it out so you can begin to move past it and have true healing. ❤️‍🩹 You can do hard things!! Gentle hugs 🫂.
