I wanna thank the panel of distinguished individuals that elected me and put my name in the “runnings” for the 2026 Hall of Fame. This is another example in a stream of events that make this particular moment in my ballroom career a full circle moment. I attended my first ball Labor Day of 1998 and joined the House of Allure at the Mugler Safari ball, so to be inducted into the Hall of Fame over two decades later at this moment in my life means so much more. To share this moment with my “brother from another” and my Ace, Jonathan West, one of the closest people to me “in and out” of ballroom makes this moment beyond special and heartwarming. Who would’ve thought after watching the kids walk the runway for weekends straight and being ushered and guided to the floor by Zake would lead to us being Iconic and 2x Hall of Famers. Thank you again to Marcus Thomas, The SE Regional Council and Ballroom for this special recognition its means the world! New Orleanssss get ready!💪🏽👌🏾🥰
