Mi gente!! I’m beyond hype to finally share the Santero project with you all!!

About a year ago, I hit a weird spot in my artist journey as DEROIA. I was making some of my “best” music and seeing a moderate level of success, but it just wasn’t landing with me. Something deeper was missing… my own story, my heritage, the vibe I’d always wanted to channel but never fully tapped into.

Santero became my way to dive deeper, to reconnect with my roots, and explore the parts of my culture I’d always felt distant from. This project is about honoring the past while carving out a new path, and reminding myself (and hopefully you too) that we’re all connected through music, stories, and experiences.

Huge love and endless thanks to everyone who’s been in my corner since day one!

Grateful for everyone that took the time to hit play on my music whether it was this year, last year or in the future. Crazy how far these things we make in our dark little rooms can reach. Even crazier how it can turn strangers into best friends and take you places you’ve never been. Been by far one of my favorite years working in the space and I’ll see you guys in 2025 (things might be lookin a lil different tho 😏)
