Kidney care is resource-intensive and carbon-heavy, yet the environmental cost of how we deliver it is rarely measured, least of all in children. This inaugural webinar from the IPNA Green Nephrology Taskforce brings together global perspectives on making paediatric kidney care more sustainable: the international landscape of green nephrology, first findings from IPNA's global sustainability survey, and the case for prevention as the highest-leverage environmental intervention of all. Objective: to equip paediatric nephrologists, allied health professionals, and policymakers with practical, deliverable approaches to reducing the footprint of kidney care while improving outcomes for children everywhere.

Another IPNA Teaching Course, “Insights into Vasculitis and Renal Involvement,” was organized last week in Romania by Dr. Rachisan, with 60 attendees participating.
Dr. Rachisan mentioned that the multidisciplinary approach and updated evidence presented during the course are expected to strengthen collaboration between specialties involved in pediatric care, particularly in early diagnosis and integrated management pathways. The course is also expected to support improvements in clinical protocols, with a greater emphasis on standardized care and timely referral processes. In addition, it has encouraged the initiation of local educational initiatives and will likely contribute to more structured training activities and better alignment with current European best practices.
