Designed to provide hands-on experience with computers, math, science and engineering, YSI helps youth develop an interest in these subjects by allowing them to work on practical, interesting scientific problems using the latest computer technology. STEM Institute: High school (freshman–junior)
Youth STEM Institute: 6th–7th grade

The Ohio Supercomputer Center is accepting applications for two hands-on STEM programs designed to spark curiosity, build skills, and introduce students to advanced computing and research.
• STEM Institute (SI) | May 31–June 12
An immersive, research-focused experience for students ready to dive deeper into STEM and computing concepts.
• Youth STEM Institute (YSI) | July 12–17
An introductory, hands-on program designed to explore STEM in an engaging and supportive environment.
Applications for both programs are open now and close on April 1.
