Sol Heritage is a company made up of a mother and daughter using a skill that was passed on from generation to generation. Sherri was taught to crochet by her grandmother when she was just 9 years old and then Sherri taught Heather to crochet when she was 23 years old. They started with just yarn, crochet hooks and very little knowledge of owning a business. Together they have navigated the world

On April 12th, I got engaged! We decided November 1st, Day of the Dead was the perfect day to quietly get married, just the two of us. We are excited to start this new chapter in our lives and join our families.

We have wrapped up another season of craft markets. It’s hard to believe, really; I feel like we just got started! Honestly, this year has been full of trials for me personally but also so much joy; Luna was born! Since Luna is still nursing but refuses to take a bottle, she came to every craft market. Being a mama with a full time job and more than one side hustle is exhaustingly difficult and I’d be lying if I said I didn’t want to just cry from time to time BUT we did it. My mom, Luna and I - WE did it. And we want to say thank you to everyone who came out and purchased a Sol Heritage product from us this season. When you buy handmade, you’re helping me buy my kids Christmas presents, pay bills and generally just stay afloat. It’s often easier to jump on Amazon and buy a cheap item that will be on your doorstep in two days but I assure you that buying handmade allows you to have such an impact on the lives of those in our local community so THANK YOU. And whatever holiday you celebrate, I hope it’s a beautiful one!
