CVD is excited to share that we are in the process of developing our first board game, Sparkle Burn! In short, Sparkle Burn is a math-forward kids game in which up to 4 characters race to the diamond in the sky. At the moment, we're in the throes of prototyping and play testing. Next month, we'll be attending Unpublished Games Network 2024 Convention (https://www.unpub.org/news/why-would-i-come-to-the-unpub-convention-2024) to learn all about game board production and play test like crazy! The CVD team has been off the radar taking a long-overdue trip to Germany and The Netherlands to visit family and friends (Chris originally hails from Germany). Along the way we did what any bicycle-obsessed, design-centric family would do and biked around looking at cool icons! We think The Netherlands wins on that account… it’s not everyday you encounter a sign that reads, “Bicycle Street, Cars are Guests,” but we sure would love to see more of that in the US.
