In partnership with Soulhound Entertainment, we are producing an awareness short film!!
This film will highlight the battle of Intracranial hypertension. “Swelling in the Narrow” transforms this invisible illness into something vivid, intimate, and impossible to ignore. A first-hand experience in the daily life of intracranial hypertension, a never-before-seen way to educate, raise awareness, while entertaining audiences and film lovers alike.
We’re excited to showcase chronic illness in a way that brings representation and understanding. Presented by a diverse cast & crew with lived experienced.
I’m always looking for ways to raise awareness for this community in new creative ways. In a way that brings positivity and builds community, Commissioning “Swelling in the Narrow” was a way to do just that. I’m grateful for the dedicated team of recent graduates and students giving their time to this worthy cause.
The story in this film was created from the real stories, of real patients enduring Intracranial Hypertension and the comorbidities surrounding it such as Chiari Malformation Hydrocephalus Epilepsy and other invisible/chronic/rare neurological conditions. Help us tell these deserving stories

The reason for the Party! The reason we do what we do! Our Those Who Endure Annual Scholarship.
Thank you to all who attended our event. Because of you, we are able to award THREE scholarships this year.
Hailey Hulse- A past recipient attending medical school at the University of Illinois, Rockford. We wanted to highlight Hailey's persistence. When she first received this award, she was in her senior year in high school. Since that time, she's had to take medical leave from school, but is still on the pursuit for her medical degree to use her lived experience as an orthopedic surgeon
Alana Pinto, a Psychology Major at Duquesne University, and her younger sister, Elise Pinto, who has been accepted to The University of Pittsburgh and plans to major in Biology/Premed
Our scholarship application was closed when I received an email from Alana & Elise's mother, Laura. Laura shared with us how, unexpectedly, two of her daughters were diagnosed and treated surgically for Chiari Malformation. She further explained how both girls were enrolled in College next year. Hearing their story, we wanted to support this family.
Thank you to everyone who supports our organization so that we may support deserving people like this. People who continue their dreams & plans despite their illness or surgery. To read more about their stories or donate head to our website www.enduringminds.com
