Contemporary composer Viet Cuong’s spirited Next Week’s Trees is “a meditation on the persistence of hope in an ever-fragile world” inspired by the words of poet Mary Oliver. Haydn’s Symphony No. 39 is known as “Tempesta di mare” due to its exhilarating turbulence reminiscent of a storm at sea. The program concludes with the warm and lush sounds of Dvořák’s perennially popular Serenade for Strings.

🎭 Collaboration: Partnering with other incredible 614 institutions like CAPA, Columbus Commons, BalletMet, the Columbus Museum of Art and more!
✈️ State-Wide and National Impact: Bringing the restorative, uplifting power of music to communities across the state, as well as to the biggest stage in the US, Carnegie Hall.

Music has the power to heal, connect, and inspire us. Thank you, Columbus... Cbus... Flavor town (iykyk)... Buckeye Nation, 614 - for letting us share that gift with you for 75 wonderful years.
