My man competed in a meet yesterday in the federation! He walked away with first place in his weight class and a qualifying total for Nationals in March! Yesterday was a learning experience for the both of us, but I’m excited to see what we can do in the next 8 months!

A little shout out to my man He sent me his video from this weeks DE Lower day. And really the first two things I noticed were the cartoons and his son. A lot of people would use their kid as an excuse as to why they can’t workout. But nope, let’s get the kid some toys, a safe spot away from the rack and cartoons, and Dad trains. I’m sure that kid will grow up remembering times like this, and once he’s ready, start squatting too. Life is hard, finding time to train is hard, and being a parent is hard, but if you really want something, you’ll figure it out.
