Meshikou is the combination of the Japanese phrase “meshi-ikou”. It’s used when friends invite each other to get some good food. So think of us as a place to gather with friends, slurp your noodles while hot (the proper way to eat ramen), and learn about this japanese comfort food.

This Heritage Month, we’re honoring the traditions, stories, and communities behind the food we make.
Since opening in 2014 as Columbus’ first ramen restaurant, Meshikou has been rooted in a simple idea: to serve bowls made with care, intention, and respect for the traditions behind them.
Our broth remains at the heart of it all, simmered for hours and built from scratch as the foundation of every bowl.
