Here's a new Quarkspace album! Tales of Ancient Quark! features the first ever improvisations of the four members of Quarkspace (Jay, Darren, Chet, and Paul) way back in 1985.

These cassette recordings held up quite well over the decades and feature the same inspired collective sense of improvised communication typical of the Spacefolds series. Still, we were young and raw. My (PW) drumming is spastic af, but on an acoustic kit. They still made me play an electric set for one track, the infamous Mattel Synsonics.
