There are two wonderful option for you this year!

Choice No.1 : Amazing Kentucky!
KFC? NO, but Cherokee Park! ISCS invites you to visit the Cherokee Park, a park designed by the Frederic L Olmsted, in Kentucky. With the fall’s wind and the beautiful landscape. There should be no reason for refusal. We also book the hotel in Crowne Plaza for a funny game night! What is more, we also will show you a mysterious destination. Are you interested?
Time: Oct.13-Oct.14
Activity: landscaping, mulching, painting.
Request: wear clothes fit for outside activity!
Fee: driver: 25$（we will reimburse the gas fee!）;
volunteer: 40$
We will have half of the day for service time, and the rest for fun!

Do not want to stay too long?
Option 2: farmer time!
Enjoy your time in a farm! With small dairy cow around you, you can relax by the garden and small pond. Can you image a better life?

ISCS Autumn 2016 Service Trip

Thank you for everyone came to our BBQ kick-off event!

This was the first time ISCS partnered with US Together to give an OSU tour, and it was so much fun. A big thank you to all the volunteers and staffs that helped us on last Friday!

Spring is coming! Don't you want to go out and enjoy the nature? If the answer is yes, you should participate the 2016 Columbus International 5K with us on April 16! The Columbus International 5K is a community event and 5K run/walk designed to help educate families on prenatal and infant care, with the end result of reducing infant mortality.
The race will have an international theme and will feature exhibits from different countries along the race course. Runners will receive an international ‘tech’ T-shirt as part of their entry. A special walking category will be available for expectant women and parents with infants.

When:
It will take place on Saturday, April 16 from 3:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., with the race starting at 5 p.m.

Where:
The race will begin and end at Genoa Park (303 W. Broad St. Columbus, OH US 43215, just east of COSI along the river) and traverse, in part, the scenic Scioto-mile bike path.

How much:
It will be $5 cheaper if you join our team!
Price as a team member:
$25 until Feb. 27, $30 from Feb. 27 to April 13, thereafter $35

Columbus International 5K - April 5K Columbus Ohio 2015 The Columbus International 5K is a great race to complete if you are looking for an April 2016 5K evening race Columbus. There are not many spring 5Ks for Couch to 5K programs, but this one is flat, beautiful and for a great cause!

ISCS sincerely invites you to join the service trip to the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. This time, we not only get the chance to enjoy beautiful natural landscape, but also volunteer with students from other universities!

Moreover, we will have fun activities like campfire, hiking, yoga, and etc. beside volunteering. This trip would be a great opportunity for you to pay back to the society, relax and meet new friends!!!

ISCS 2016 Spring Break Service Trip

2016 International Student Community Service (ISCS) Service Trip:

Time of Event: Mar.18th - 20th (Spring Break!)

ISCS invites all of you to join the service trip to the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. And this time, we are not doing community service just by ourselves but with students from other universities. We prepared fun activities for you and it will be a great networking chance. More details will come soon.

Since our service trips have always been very popular, we decided to select trip participants in a different way this time. As you know, ISCS offers volunteer opportunities every week (regular sites), including tutoring children, helping disabled people and playing with small animals. The more you participate in our regular sites, the more likely you will be chosen in our service trip this time. Please feel free to ask any ISCS members about our regular sites.

Our kick-off event - Game Night is coming! This Friday, International Student Community Service is waiting for you in Morrill Tower (browsing room) from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

We will introduce our spring service trip, have Chinese traditional cutting and folding and play cards and board games!!!
