During a recent project, we uncovered hidden electrical work buried behind drywall — SEVEN connectors just floating back there (yikes!). Not only illegal, but super dangerous. Thankfully, we caught it early, worked with the homeowner, and found a smart fix without blowing up the beautiful backsplash design. Always remember: DIY doesn’t always mean done right!

We wish we had X-ray vision… but until then, we plan for the unknowns. At our Upper Arlington project, we uncovered a serious structural issue from a previous remodel 😬—and had to reinforce the floor before adding the tub. Pro tip: always expect a few surprises during a renovation. That’s why you hire the pros 😉
