Greetings, this is message from the GDEX gaming expo who Multivarious also supports. We hope you all had a wonderful Easter weekend and a great start to this one so far!

We're posting here today to present to you an opportunity to help bring to life a GDEX Discord bot called Jammio. Some of you may have had a chance to play around with this bot back in 2020 when we were all online for the casual 9-day GDEX Game Jam. Jammio is a Discord bot built to handle the organization and backend of running a game jam so you can focus more on making games and having funs! Back then, even though Jammio was a rough dry-run, it still helped offload much of the work to setup the GDEX Game Jams in our Discord.

Today, we need your help! If you would like to see Jammio take off and feel you can help test our new Jammio bot with 1 hour or more, we'd love your feedback. Any time is appreciated. Please consider volunteering to fill out the Google Form to become a Beta Tester today:

It is with great sadness that we mourn the passing of Charles Csuri. An Ohio Legend, American War Hero, and Artist instrumental in advancing Computer Graphics, bridging artists and engineers to move digital artistry in ways no one else had. It was an honor to work with him on several projects over the years and we send all our love to his family and friends.

I'm not sure why the previous text didn't post, so here we go a second time!

I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone that has supported MVG, GDEX, and the COGG community over the years. It's hard to believe that we've been pushing to grow the game dev industry in Ohio for over a decade, and it's in no small part to all the great people in our community.

Personally, I'd like to send my appreciation to everyone for making our community amazing. Every year I'm consistenly blown away by the great people and the quality of work being done. It truly is incredible to be a part of.

I hope that all of you have a wonderful Holiday Season and get to spend some relaxing time with family, friends, and other loved ones.

Hello Everyone,

It goes without saying that this has been a difficult year for many of us. Here at Multivarious, we’ve had to work very hard and be flexible just to be able to survive. But we’ve managed to make it through 2020, where many in our industry have not. I want to personally thank everyone that has supported us both this year, and in years past. Trying to build a game industry in the Midwest is a challenge without a global pandemic, and many of our friends weren’t able to make it through. I am determined to have our team and community strive to grow and support other companies and creators for as long as we can, and I really do believe that 2021 can be a great year for the Columbus and Ohio game industry.

For now, on behalf of myself and the rest of the team, I wish you all the very best during this Holiday Season and I hope that it’s filled with love and support and we’ll see you on the other side of the New Year!
