Austin Hulsey - First Command Financial Advisor

~~ TBT to AAC in July, and I’m still riding the high of celebrating what this career is really about..... helping others!!!

There’s a lot to celebrate when you see the impact advisors can have on the families they serve. For me, success has always started with taking care of people, building relationships, and being there when they need someone in their corner.

If you’re ready to chat about your financial future and how we can help, let’s talk.

~~ Some of the most valuable conversations start when we stop thinking about what we’re going to say next and simply listen. Everyone brings a different perspective, different experiences and something we can learn from. Taking the time to ask questions, listen closely and understand someone else’s point of view can make us better leaders and better at helping the people around us.

Sometimes the most important part of a conversation isn’t what you say. It’s what you hear.

First Command’s Sarasota, Florida team was proud to support the Coast Guard Chief Petty Officers Association's 2026 CCCAF Scholarship Program. Through scholarships that help students continue their education, the program invests in the future of Coast Guard families. We're honored to be part of that mission.

~~ September 18, 1947 gave America an independent Air Force and began a new era in our nation's military history. Today we celebrate the service, dedication and commitment of generations of Airmen.

Happy Birthday, USAF!

What a fantastic visit from our CEO, Mark Steffe, and an even better opportunity to have everyone from across our district together in one place. ~~ There is tremendous value in getting the team together—sharing ideas, strengthening relationships, and hearing directly from leadership about where we’re going and the opportunities ahead. Days like this reinforce what strong leadership and a connected team can accomplish.

Grateful for Mark’s time, perspective, and commitment to our people, and proud of the team we continue to build across our district.

First Command's Shalimar, Florida team is honored to support Eglin Nursing Services and the incredible work they do for the military community. Thanks to our generous volunteers, we were able to help raise funds through a community carwash in support of their mission.

First Command’s San Antonio and Corpus Christi, Texas office was proud to support the MSgt Release Party and celebrate the dedication, leadership, and accomplishments of these exceptional Airmen as they reached this important career milestone.

Today, we remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, the families forever changed, and the heroes who answered the call. We will never forget.

Working with rockstars makes all the difference. ~~ The people you can count on, the ones who show up, step in when needed, and always find a way to get things done.

I’m fortunate to work alongside some incredible people who bring that kind of commitment every day. Strong teams aren’t just built on talent—they’re built on people who have each other’s backs.

Opening Day at the Air Force Academy is finally here! ~~ First Command is proud to sponsor this weekend’s game and stand alongside the cadets, families, alumni, fans, and military community filling the stands.

We may have worn different uniforms, served in different branches, and come from different places — but this weekend, we’re all Falcons!
