LSS Food Pantries

Today is our final food distribution at The Church on Oakland Park in Linden. We’re grateful to the wonderful volunteers and participants who have been part of this distribution over the years. We loved distributing beautiful fresh flowers in glass jars, unlimited sweet potatoes and fresh eggplant last week at our Champion Ave food pantry!

When Solomon's 94-year-old mother moved in with him last year, he wanted to help her stay healthy. Thanks to fresh fruits and vegetables from our pantry, she has been able to replace many processed foods with fresh options and make healthier choices. Solomon, who prioritizes fresh produce, says pantry visits have become an important part of their routine and support his mother's health and well-being.

Thank you to the Women Giving Together Del Co Fund at the Delaware County Foundation for a gift of $5,000 to help purchase food for our Delaware pantry.

Our Lancaster food pantry received an extra pallet with children's books in the latest shipment from Mid-Ohio Food Collective. We can't wait to share these with the families we serve!
