Looking to build your financial confidence and better understand banking, credit, budgeting, and other money management topics? Join us and our partner, Telhio Credit Union, for a Money Matters workshop designed to give you the knowledge and tools to make informed financial decisions.

Shane Thomas was an A.M.P. participant at IMPACT who was preparing to be sworn into an electrical union when a work strike occurred. While standing in solidarity with his union and navigating this unexpected transition, Shane connected with his A.M.P. coach to discuss his next steps. Through those conversations, he was introduced to IMPACT’s CORE Construction program.

Recognizing the value of continued growth, Shane pursued his OSHA 30 certification to strengthen his skills and advance his career. This industry-recognized credential opens the door to greater leadership opportunities and provides an additional wage increase on top of his base pay.

Throughout his OSHA 30 training, Shane continued working with his A.M.P. coach and was referred to IMPACT’s Grid Up Solar program while actively interviewing for new positions.

The morning after completing his OSHA 30 certification, Shane received a job offer!
