What a fun, memorable Spring AAU hoops season! 🏀

These guys battled through 8 tournaments and came away with 2 championships, 2 runners up, 2 semifinals berths and 2 where we learned quite a bit. We hit up some new places, learned new things and made new friends along the way. 🙌

I could not be more proud of their effort, coachability, development, teamwork, positivity….their commitment getting better and to each other.

I’m truly impressed. Not surprised one bit, but impressed with each one of them and again, super proud!

Fantastic season, boys. Thank you for being awesome - I love you all. Keep grinding! 💪

Today is about remembering those who never made it home. 🇺🇸

Recently, someone I care deeply about brought me the boots he wore in Vietnam. He survived the war, but many of his friends did not.

As he shared his stories about the brothers he lost - what they endured, what they carried, and the memories that never left him - we both got emotional.

He asked me to hold those boots, and they felt so heavy in a way that had nothing to do with their actual weight.

This Memorial Day, I’m thinking about the lives that were lost, the brothers who never came home, and the lifelong weight carried by those who did.

May we never forget them.
