The First Beat Theater is an improv theater dedicated to growing the comedy scene in Columbus, Ohio. We offer monthly performances from local and national groups performing improv, stand up, and sketch. New classes are offered every few months and we hold bi-weekly meetups for anyone to give improv a try no matter you experience level.

One of the three fantastic improv groups performing at tonight's First Beat Theater show: Dayton-based Pickled Meal! As this photo illustrates, the group allegedly formed when five strangers (in what's clearly marked as "NOT an elevator") were abducted by comedy aliens.
