💡 Recovery Isn't Being Lazy

Most people think progress happens during the workout.

The truth?

Your body gets stronger during recovery.

The workout is the signal. Recovery is where the change happens.

That means:
✅ Sleep matters
✅ Hydration matters
✅ Nutrition matters
✅ Rest days matter

You don't need fancy recovery tools or a complicated routine.

Start with the basics:
• Drink more water
• Eat protein with your meals
• Go for a walk
• Stretch for 5 minutes
• Get to bed a little earlier

Small habits done consistently can make a huge difference in how you feel, recover, and perform.

The bike will test your engine, the lunges will challenge your legs, and the burpees will ask one simple question: How badly do you want it?

Let's give a huge shoutout to Xiomara! 👏💪

Xiomara is one of the most consistent members at CrossFit Expedition. No matter what the workout is, she shows up ready to work. She doesn't complain, doesn't make excuses, and always takes on the challenge in front of her.

They're not.
Motivation comes and goes.
Consistency stays.

The members who see the best results at CrossFit Expedition aren't always the most athletic. They're not always the strongest. They're simply the ones who keep showing up.

They show up when they're energized.
They show up when they're stressed.
They show up when life gets busy.

Because they know something important:
You don't have to be perfect to make progress.

💥 From Yoga to 130 Burpees! 💥

When Katie first joined CrossFit Expedition, her primary form of exercise was yoga. While yoga helped her build flexibility and balance, she wanted to become stronger and improve her endurance.

Fast forward to our June Burpee Challenge...

In a workout consisting of 12 minutes of burpees over the bar (45 seconds of work, 15 seconds of rest), Katie completed an incredible 130 burpees—one of the top scores in the gym! 🔥

The best part? She didn't have a CrossFit background. She simply showed up, trusted the process, and stayed consistent.
