Electric Mowers are 70% more plastic than gas mowers.
They are made so that you should need to buy a new mower every 3-5 years.
After that, it goes to the curb, then shredded, then released into the ocean.
China is the biggest buyer of our scrap metal to use to build infrastructure, yet they make almost everything we buy out of plastic, then we pay them to tow it off to recycle, even after telling us 10 years ago, they no longer recycle ♻️.

New vs old and very used Toro recycler. The new one has a bent shaft. The old one has a great running engine but transmission issues. Sounds like a swap will finally get my first project mower I ever bought going.

Finally got the replacement engine on this, and decided to spray paint the deck, wire brush the blades, sharpen the blades, and then put paint on the blades to protect from rust a bit. Went from a 24 hp to a 20 hp so I am hoping it's not too big of a drop.
