Yesterday, we had the opportunity to meet so many amazing future Cougar families, and we were inspired by the excitement, enthusiasm, and commitment to academic excellence shown by both students and parents. As enrollment continues for the 2026-2027 school year, many of our grade levels are now full and operating with wait lists. We currently have limited seats remaining in several K-5 classrooms, so families are encouraged not to wait.

🚧 Mid-Week Summer Project Update! 🚧

The transformation of our campus continues!
✅ Demolition work is moving full speed ahead in the Middle School bathrooms and has now begun in the Elementary School bathrooms.

✅ The new parking lot is getting closer to completion, with striping beginning today.

✅ Crews will also begin curb work later this week as another major phase of the project gets underway.

Every day brings visible progress, and we are excited to see these improvements taking shape for our students, families, and staff. These upgrades are part of our continued commitment to providing a safe, welcoming, and high-quality learning environment because at CPA, Excellence Is All We Know.

⚠️ As a reminder, campus remains CLOSED at this time with no public access permitted while construction and improvement projects are underway. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to make CPA even better for the 2026-2027 school year.

📚☀️ Don't Let the Summer Slide Sneak Up on Your Student! ☀️📚

Summer break is a time to relax, recharge, and make memories, but it's also important to keep young minds active and engaged. Without regular learning opportunities, students can experience the "Summer Slide," a loss of academic skills and knowledge gained during the school year.

The good news? Just a little learning each day can make a big difference!
✅ Read for at least 20 minutes each day
✅ Practice math facts and problem-solving skills
✅ Explore STEM projects and educational activities
✅ Visit museums, parks, and community events that encourage learning

One of our favorite resources is the Columbus Metropolitan Library Summer Reading Challenge! This free program encourages students of all ages to read throughout the summer while earning prizes and participating in fun activities. Fresh exterior paint and updated trim have given this building a whole new look, creating an even more beautiful and welcoming space for our students and families. These improvements were made possible through grant funds awarded to CPA in recognition of the hard work, dedication, and continued academic progress of our students and staff.

This is just one of many exciting campus upgrades happening this summer. From facility improvements to enhanced learning spaces, we're continuing to invest in the future of our Cougars and ensuring our campus reflects the excellence happening inside our classrooms every day.
