ch is what we did with the floral company we currently own, Bloomtastic flowers & events. Located in Columbus, Ohio, I purchased the company in its infancy in 2004. It had no identity, no brand, no delivery van for that matter! Through blood, sweat and tears (trust me, there was a lot of all of that), it has become a powerhouse floral company, both locally and nationally. Over 150 brides every year chose Bloomtastic because we love what we do and it shows. We are proud to design for each bride, and we treat her with friendly respect. National and regional publications and organizations have featured Bloomtastic, Jayson or myself. I even was appointed by the President of the Society of American Florists to an advisory board to help other florists grow and prosper, an honor I treasure dearly. Over the past decade, I have met so many fabulous wedding vendors, but I kept hearing the same cry, "I love what I do, I'm just not making any money." That took me by surprise, because quite honestly, I'm profitable. I can pay my bills, my staff, myself, and still have money left at the end of the day.
