I was just 14 years old, a freshman in high school, when the world seemed to stop on September 11, 2001. I was sitting in Biology class, we were dissecting frogs when the whispers started. But we didn’t know for sure until the next class when the tvs were pulled out (you know the ones that were on carts) and that’s all we did. For the rest of the day we moved from room to room watching the news. It was probably the quietest that building ever was with students inside.

I didn’t fully understand the weight of what was happening at that moment—but I’ll never forget the silence in the classroom, the shock on my teachers’ faces, and the way the world felt different that morning and all through the afternoon. Everything felt heavy and I didn’t truly understand why.

As the years have passed, the memory of that day has grown deeper. It’s not just about where I was, but about the lives lost, the bravery shown, and how it changed the course of history for all of us.

Today, we pause to remember. To honor those we lost, the heroes who ran toward danger, and the resilience of a country that came together in the face of tragedy.

We are 28 weeks! 🤰🏼😱 These were taken on 2/3 which was the first day of the 3rd trimester!! 81 days left till due date!!! Introduced him to DMX on the way home the other night. He was definitely moving around to it; as to whether or not he liked it is another story lol. 🤷🏼‍♀️🤣

27 weeks on the 27th! 😍

Little sir was very active today. Still only feeling him on the inside. This is the last week of the 2nd trimester. 😱🩵

25 Weeks! 😍 Hair is getting long and shiny and I was really feeling myself with this polka dotted headband today.😍

The visit at the MFM took longer than expected today just due to waiting to be seen. BUT he is healthy and looks good and weighs about 1 1/2 lbs.

However; somebody was breech… again. lol. Making the tech work a little harder to get what she needed. 😂 I’d like to introduce you to the next member of Cirque du Soleil. Baby boy has his feet (or at least one of them) OVER his head.

Today is 20 weeks or 5 months. I am approximately 1/2 way through my pregnancy. 😍😍
