June may be here, but the membership year isn't over yet!
There's still time to add members, submit dues, and make sure your PTA closes out the year strong. As you're wrapping up this school year and preparing for the next, don't forget these important tasks:
✔️ Enter your 2026-2027 officers into Givebacks
✔️ Enter and remit dues for all 2025-2026 members
✔️ Submit your volunteer hours
Every member counts through June 30, and every volunteer hour helps tell the story of PTA's impact in Ohio.
Questions? Need assistance? Ohio PTA is always here to help!

📢 Just 227 members away!
What if each of us recruited just one more member?
One more voice.
One more advocate.
One more supporter of public education.
We're only 227 members away from our goal. Let's finish the year strong!
💙 Every Child. One Voice.

📢 Ohio PTA Leaders, Members, and Advocates:
We're closer than we've been in years.
Ohio PTA is currently just 229 new members away from ending a decade-long membership decline.
This isn't just about a number.
It's about maintaining our voice for children. It's about ensuring parents, educators, students, and community members continue to have a seat at the table when decisions are made that affect Ohio's public schools.
Every membership strengthens our ability to advocate for students, support families, champion public education, and remain a relevant and respected voice across Ohio.
Here's why I'm joining one more PTA:
🎸 Because students deserve strong advocates.
🎸 Because educators deserve support.
🎸 Because families deserve to be heard.
🎸 Because public schools matter.
🎸 Because Ohio PTA's voice matters.
As we work toward our membership goal, it's important to remember that our current count includes all memberships entered into Givebacks. To ensure those memberships count toward our final numbers, local units must remit dues by 6/30!
Now let's finish strong.
How can you help?
1️⃣ Join one additional PTA.
2️⃣ Update your profile picture with the campaign graphic.
3️⃣ Challenge others to join.
4️⃣ Make sure all memberships entered in Givebacks are remitted.
Together, we can reverse a decade-long trend and demonstrate that Ohio PTA remains a powerful force for children and public education.
229 members. One voice. One movement. One stronger Ohio PTA.
P.S. Thank you Texas PTA for this idea!

Office Hours is a safe space to come and talk about your PTA. lt's like a PTA support group. We will talk and collaborate about ideas but it is also a place where you can be heard. Not all parts of PTA are pretty and that is okay. We are here to support you and help you and your PTA grow.

It's not too late to sign up to attend tomorrow's webinar! www.ohipta.org/roblox-webinar
As parents, we all want the same thing: for our children to explore, learn, connect, and have fun online in ways that are safe, positive, and age-appropriate. We also know that questions about screen time, online safety, and digital independence come from a very real place — wanting what’s best for our kids.
In a candid discussion, Dr. Elizabeth Milovidov (fellow parent and Senior Director of Global Parental Advocacy at Roblox) will share practical guidance for navigating technology alongside our children, including the importance of open conversations about online habits, using tools like parental controls, and building healthy digital trust over time. The session will explore how insights from parents can shape the products, policies, and online spaces young people use every day.
The presentation will be followed by a live Q&A moderated by Nicole Lesnick, Ohio PTA President, featuring Dr. Elizabeth. If you’d like to submit a question in advance, please fill out this form. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScsguVXoQTiALktzH2_BCWMqE-JzfrUlrkb5Wm7lRmbfebG0Q/viewform
