Community looks like a lot of things. This spring, it looked like a preschool.

The teachers, staff, and families of Primrose School of Reynoldsburg chose NC4K as the beneficiary of their annual Spring Fling, coming together to raise funds for Ohio families facing childhood cancer.

It's easy to assume meaningful fundraising requires scale. It doesn't. It requires people who decide to show up for families they may never meet, walking a road no one should walk alone.

A school did exactly that. And those families will feel it.

Thank you, Primrose Reynoldsburg, for proving again that no kid fights cancer alone.

For one afternoon, nobody was a patient. They were just teenagers.

Our Teen Heroes, their siblings, and friends took over and enjoyed activities like go-karts, arcade games, pizza, and a serious amount of dessert.

Special thank you to the students and staff at Horizon Elementary School in Hilliard for inviting NC4K's Family Services Manager, Whitney, out to the end of year Career day! Students learned about NC4K's pillars of service and worked together to write messages of hope to our NC4K families!

This is Positivity Wednesday, and this week we're celebrating every single graduate in the Class of 2026, rather it's kindergarten, elementary, middle school, high school or college.

We never take a milestone for granted, so when someone reaches the next chapter, we celebrate it as loud as we can!

In May, NC4K provided financial support to 18 families facing childhood cancer across Ohio.

71% of that support went directly toward housing expenses — helping families keep a roof over their heads while focusing on what matters most: their child’s care and wellbeing.

When a child is in treatment, everyday bills don’t stop. Because of this community, families are able to experience a little more stability, relief, and breathing room during an incredibly difficult season.
