Welcome to our page! The C.A. The Triplehorn Insect Collection at Ohio State University is one of the largest university collections in the USA.

Triplehorn Insect Collection at The Ohio State University is dedicated to the study, documentation, and conservation of insects and committed to the promotion of the science of Entomology. Our specimens are used in studies of insect systematics, evolution, faunistics, crop and animal protection, and invasive insect species. In 2005 the collection was dedicated in honor of Dr. Charles A. Triplehorn, Professor of Entomology and long-time Curator.
