As the Founder & CEO of Urban Family Development Center, I want to personally wish a Happy Father’s Day to the 2,200+ dads we’ve had the privilege of serving, and all the Dads2B we haven’t met yet.
Over the years, I’ve watched fathers fight for custody, fight for visitation, and fight to remain active in their children’s lives. I’ve watched men overcome their own childhood pain and become the fathers they never had.
Serving fathers and families has been one of the greatest honors of my life, and I’m grateful that God has called me to this work.
I believe this with my whole heart:
As our fathers go, so go our families. And as our families go, so go our communities.

Dad’s Matter Day in Columbus was a success, and now we’re headed to City of YOUngstown to close out the month celebrating fathers! Join us June 20 at Wean Park for Family Day, and June 24 for Dad Talk with Guy Burney. We’ll talk fatherhood, influence, consistency, co-parenting, leadership, faith, and family.
Last year was powerful… and this year, we’re running it back.

Fathers belong in this conversation. If we’re serious about reducing infant mortality, including dads has to be intentional, not an afterthought.
