⚠️SEVERE WEATHER LATER NEXT WEEK⚠️

Most of Ohio has already been placed within the severe weather risk zone next Wednesday and/or Thursday. This includes Wednesday night and Thursday night. As of now the level is a 2-of-5. It's important to note these areas will shift around as we get closer and get a better handle on how exactly things will come together.

However, as I see it now, nearly all of Ohio will have a severe weather threat later next week. Damaging winds, hail and tornadoes all appear to be on the table. Stay tuned for updates!

I tell you what, I really don't see any summer heat for the rest of June here in Ohio. The same can be said for many states in the middle of the U.S. No heatwaves, no 90-degree days, none of that.

PLENTY OF RAINFALL COMING:

Hefty rain totals of one to three inches are in the forecast for all of Ohio over the next 7 days. Most of this will fall Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday. 🌧☔️

FACEBOOK ISSUES WITH MY PAGE:

Hello everyone! Are you still seeing my posts? Apparently Meta AI technology flagged my posts and page as not following their rules. So now my reach and posts are being limited and restricted. It's frustrating because as far as I'm aware my posts have been genuine, informative and completely harmless -- nothing different than I've done in the past.

So this comes as a complete shock to me. I can't get anywhere with Meta regarding what exactly I did wrong, nor can anyone tell me what I need to do to get this "restricted" label lifted from my page. I feel as though my posts are informative and helpful to those who follow me. It's beyond frustrating. I'd love for any input, and I'd love to know if you've noticed any changes to what you see from me. Thank you!

SEVERE WEATHER RISKS THIS WEEK:

While it's too early to get into the details, the overall pattern and setup look favorable for some severe weather potential Wednesday through Friday here in Ohio. Just an early heads up that I'm watching it, and that things may be a bit more active than just plain showers and storms.

HARDIN COUNTY THE BIG WINNER:

I can't say I've ever seen a single county excluded from a severe watch with every surrounding county being included. Hardin County clearly didn't want any severe weather today LOL. What are you seeing?! 🤷‍♂️

A NEW SEVERE T-STORM WATCH:

A large part of Ohio that was not in the earlier watch is now under a Severe Thunderstorm Watch until 10pm. This is for storms capable of producing damaging winds and hail. An isolated tornado is also possible. This includes Columbus, Dayton, Springfield, Lima, Chillicothe, and Lancaster in Ohio.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH ISSUED:

A portion of central and eastern Ohio has been placed under a Severe Thunderstorm Watch until 6 p.m. due to a complex of storms racing eastward across the state. The main severe risk will occur between 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. before storms exit into West Virginia and Pennsylvania.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Additional severe storms are possible later today across the state; this is NOT the only risk for the day!

UPDATE TO SEVERE RISK TODAY:

Strong to severe thunderstorms are possible for most of Ohio at pretty much any time today. Damaging winds, large hail and excessive rainfall are the main concerns, with an isolated tornado also possible. It is a good day to be weather aware, as things will change quickly when/if storms impact your area.
