rock hard The music and the lyrics go hand in hand as they tell the stories of the truths deep inside us, and the fear of those very truths that we hide from.
moberod is the pseudonym of my solo singer/songwriter/guitarist project that has taken shape after years of studying music, writing a catalog of songs, and playing with many other seasoned musicians. Drawing influence from artists such as Placebo, Green Day, Live, Fastball, Brian Setzer, Elton John, Maroon 5, etc., my music would best be described as math rock with a twist of punk and pop-metal. I also have a prolific amount of acoustic covers that put a new spin on classic songs.
this track almost never saw the light of day.
sat on it for years because it felt… off.
like it was saying something i wasn’t ready to admit yet.
finally made a video for it anyway.
now i’m wondering if i should’ve left it buried.

i wrote this song when i was 18 thinking it was about me.
turns out… i completely missed the point.
20 years later, it hits totally different—and honestly, harder than i expected.
