From car crashes, to falls, workplace accidents, and more, preventable injuries remain one of the leading drivers of trauma care.

June marks National Safety Month, an initiative focused on reducing the risks behind incidents that bring patients into our trauma system. At COTS, we’re proud to work alongside physicians, healthcare professionals, EMS agencies, hospitals, emergency responders, public health partners, and community organizations to improve the health and safety of our communities every day.

This month, we recognize and thank all of our partners who dedicate themselves to creating safer communities and better outcomes across Central, Southeast, and Southeast Central Ohio.

Together, we are stronger. Together, we improve readiness, response, and patient care.

Better lifespans are built together. Join us in recognizing Men’s Health Month and encouraging the men in your life to make their health a priority!

Men die an average 6 years earlier than women, often from preventable causes.

Closing the lifespan gender gap starts with education, connection, and shared advocacy.

When men and their care partners have access to the right information & support, preventive care happens earlier and outcomes improve.

Men’s Health Month is a reminder that better lifespans are built together.
