These samples were collected and sent out 5/22/26 from zip codes 43203 and 43215 in Columbus Ohio. A big thank you to our friends at especially Carter for their help in keeping our folks safe

We had a great time exhibiting at the Ohio Association of County Behavioral Health Authorities Monday and Tuesday.

Conferences and community events like this are where we’re able to have some of the most important conversations. Over the two days, we connected with providers, advocates, community members, and leaders from across Ohio to talk about harm reduction, reducing stigma, and compassionate overdose response.

We believe that how we respond to an overdose matters. Leading with compassion, rescue breaths, dignity, and evidence based practices saves lives and helps build trust in our communities.

This was our second year as exhibitors, and it was encouraging to see so many people interested in learning more about harm reduction and the work happening across Ohio.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table, shared ideas, asked questions, and took information back to your communities. We appreciate every opportunity to spread education, challenge stigma, and remind people that harm reduction is healthcare.

Thank you to On the Front Lines Community Alliance for having Tonja our ED today to present about SOAR at the SWAP (socialize with a purpose) meeting.
The room was filled with amazing people who are on the front lines in Cincinnati and surrounding areas connecting folks to care and services.

We’ve been boots on the ground all weekend throughout Ohio with our friends from collecting samples as we did outreach. They saw our surge in fatal overdoses and responded! We should have lab results in soon. It’s incredibly important to know so that we as an Ohio collaborative can be all hands on deck with our community partners throughout Ohio.

Breaking: PAgroundhogs has joined an interagency effort to address a recent spike in overdoses throughout May in Ohio & the WV northern panhandle bordering PA. More than 50 reported ODs including six reported fatalities in Ohio in one 24 hour period. some reports are blaming crack laced with fentanyl. Others speculating Cychlorphine in the supply. P.A.G ‘s western team has boots on the ground this weekend in affected areas and samples have already arrived at the lab. Stay tuned for follow up alerts. Subscribe at PAGROUNDHOGS.ORG.
