Due to the inclement weather forecast for this upcoming weekend, we will not be having any of our stage plays at Lake Bottom Park for 19 - 21 June 2026. Our Juneteenth Columbus GA stage play, "Freedom Day, 1865 and Counting" will now be at the Columbus Public Library (3000 Macon Road Columbus, Ga), in the auditorium, still on, 19 June, beginning precisely at 5 p.m. We will also have Juneteenth gift bags for audience members.
Our other two stage plays, "Disassembling A Piano" and "Don't Come Home Drinking, With Loving On Your Mind" will be performed at the Coca Cola Science Museum (701 Front Avenue Columbus, GA 31901), on, 20 June, beginning precisely at 5 p.m. Both plays will be performed at the same place, the same date, and within 15 minutes of each other.
Please come out and see all three stage plays. This production would also like to dedicate all three stage plays to dads, in honor of Father's Day on 21 June. We will also have a special gift for all the dads that show up and can be confirmed by at least one child or more.

This Friday, 12 June, come join us in honoring female Veterans in the stage play "Women Veterans United". There was a time in the military when even after women were allowed to be a part of the Armed Forces, once their services were no longer needed female service members were sent home without a second thought. They weren't allowed to get benefits, they weren't allowed to retire, and they certainly weren't allowed to be considered Military Veterans by the U.S. Armed Forces. Come see what more you can learn from the Flowers and their extended. Family. The cast includes:
Denise Kelly as Yvette Flowers
Sophia Browne as Xavia Flowers Tree
Mark Whaley as Xavier Tree
David Hood Jr. as Wayman Flowers
Cate Wathen as Umeko Flowers
Pat Liddell as Zola Herbert
Sheila Peek as Hadley Hall
Lasada Lloyd as Geneva Laster
Derrick Gibson as Ferguson Mills
Jessica Cowell as Narrator
We will be at Lake Bottom Park, under the Band Shell, 5 p.m.

Never underestimate the power of a woman, especially when she is advocating for others. That should have been the name of the stage play "Questioning The Status Quo", but it was too wordy. One leader feels pushed aside, the other feels in control. Come watch our stage play at Lake Bottom Park, under the Band Shell, to see how things unfold. Once again, we have a great cast!
Karissa played by Von Marie

Yancy played by Jess Cowell
Byrek played by Elijah Miles Cardona
