I was thinking about my dad today who encouraged me to live my dreams and helped me open and build out my first cafe. He passed away in April 2015 and would always take us to Chillicothe to visit my great grandmother Lovada Fern Keel Brooks who had 13 children and lived to 103 and was always on the go. I have great memories of sitting on her porch while family and friends stopped by. I was amazed to find out she the was the mid wife to Nancy Wilson mother when the jazz singer was born. If you are related to Grandma Brooks as we called her or knew of her please share a story here.
