At last nights board meeting we said Thank you and farewell to resident firefighter/EMT Braden Talarico. He finished up his 2 year resident contract with us here at CFR and will now be finishing up his training/ride alongs to become a paramedic. He is headed back home to Bozeman and is looking forward to opportunities with multiple career departments in our area! Good work Braden and thank you for a job well done!

If you hear sirens slowly moving through town this evening around 1830 (630 pm) don't be alarmed. The Columbus Boys Track team went a secured the state title. Your local First responders will be accompanying them through town on little victory ride. This will start at the high school and move down 4th towards 9th St. Then West on Pike Ave and then North on Quarry. Please come out and make some noise for these amazing athletes!

Good morning. Balloon flights for this morning and tomorrow morning have been canceled due to thunderstorms showing up on the radar. We are glad you could enjoy the activities we had planned for yesterday in an effort to make the most of the weekend. Your support means a lot to us!

Exciting news to share! Our balloon pilots are hoping to make the best of today's weather and are planning a balloon glow tonight at 8:30 at the field by the airport.

After enjoying good food and music the Street Dance hosted at Palladium Draughthaus starting at 6:00, come by the airport to see the balloon glow.

Unfortunately, Saturday afternoon’s events (balloon glow, food trucks, and the band) are canceled due to weather.

The good news: 🎈 Friday morning launch looks great

🎉 Friday Night Street Dance at the Palladium is still happening at 6 PM!

We’ll keep an eye on Saturday and Sunday morning’s weather and let the pilots make the call after their briefing.
