With 14 years in the industry, Kyle is the creative force behind our desserts. His style? Classic technique with imaginative twists, often inspired by childhood flavors and reimagined into something truly memorable. He’s also the brains behind our signature Buckeye (yes, THAT one 👀)!

Kyle leads and mentors a growing pastry team, crafting menus for multiple outlets while proving that great food should always feel approachable! We’re lucky to have him 🍫✨

We loved hosting the talented young chefs from Young Chefs Academy of Gahanna at FYR Short North! Young Chefs Academy empowers kids with confidence, life skills, and a love for cooking. This amazing group jumped in, recreated Chef Zach's Wood Oven Crab Cake, and proudly served their moms for Mother’s Day.🦀✨

The evening didn’t stop there… our young chefs wrapped up with an exclusive behind-the-scenes kitchen tour, including a look into our dry-aging program and getting a true taste of the action that takes place at FYR Short North.
